Babe is a 1995 Australian-American comedy-drama film directed by Chris Noonan, produced by George Miller, and written by both. It is an adaptation of Dick King-Smith's 1983 novel The Sheep-Pig, also known as Babe: The Gallant Pig in the US, which tells the story of a pig raised for livestock who wants to be a sheepdog. The main animal characters are played by a combination of real and animatronic pigs and Border Collies. A sequel, Babe: Pig In The City, was released in 1998 and directed by George Miller. While generally catering to young audiences, both features bring up dark themes are moral quandaries, giving kids a lot to chew on. As a child it was one of my favorites. Please discuss.
Are you guys not familiar with their crossover epic, Babe: Civil War Where the two farms go to war and babe and Charlotte trade blows?!
Wimp-ass Charlotte can't trade blows with Babe because Charlotte doesn't even make it to the end of her own book
It was a facade, you find out at the beginning of Babe: Civil War she faked her death to try and stop the incoming war from Babe’s farm. But they didn’t stop with her death, so she shows up in the farms hour of need and saves Gordy, who also crosses over into this, just as Babe is about to fry him
