First cold open is in “Hot Girl” (S1E6) and the parking lot is waaaaaaay different than what becomes the normal parking lot (same for the building as well)
nate is hysterical
I will never understand why people don't like Gabe, he has several of the funniest lines of the second half of the show imo. Zach Woods always makes me laugh though to be fair
What if Leslie David Baker actually hates pretzels
That’s nonsense! The Office was only based on factual information about the characters. This would be like asking, “what if the actress playing Meredith actually hates alcohol?”
Angela and Jenna are BFFs in real life
Don’t point out obvious logic/facts to me dammit!
But seriously, imagine accepting that call if your Leslie or is agent: you want him where? For what? Pretzels? Why? Oh because of that one episode of a show 15 years ago, got it.
well this is perfect lmao
I died when he was bouncing them off Phyllis
am currently dead
In “Performance Review” when Michael is going through the suggestion box there is the suggestion about help for depression from “Tom” who Phyllis says worked in accounting “until about a year ago” (and then indicates that he killed himself and Michael calls him ‘weird’ lol).
This means that Dunder Mifflin Scranton had FOUR people working in accounting for a branch of... less than 15 people including the accountants. And they already made he joke that they have 3 people doing the job of 2 people in the Halloween episode yet somehow they had FOUR people doing the job of 2 people at one time lmao
Maybe one of the current accountants replaced him
I was thinking that but I think we learn throughout the series that the 3 we know have been there for a long time (longer than the year since Tom died). I don’t think we ever get specifics but there are scenes where the dialogue implies that (I think).
Meredith was apparently an accountant in season 1 too.
The show isn't known for its precise continuity
i was simply commenting on something interesting not critiquing it like Roger fuckin Ebert.
I’m going to assume Michael moved Kevin there from another department.
No, Kevin was hired as an accountant because Michael specifically says he was applying for the warehouse but that he had a feeling about him
That one decision sums up Michael’s entire DM tenure so well
This is a thing and I love it.
