Also, I can't stand Gabe either. He just seems unnecessary to the show and he's just boring and kind of creeps me out lol. My girlfriend loves him, though.
"Oscar, you're gay. Boom roasted." "Andy, you're even gayer than Oscar. Roasted." "Kevin, I couldn't decide between a fat joke or a dumb joke. Roasted." "Meredith, you've had sex with so many men that you're starting to look like one. Roasted." Ah this is probably one of the funniest episodes.
I always forget how many great lines / moments Meredith has. Really the whole cast has numerous great moments, which makes the show what it is, but Meredith is amazing. - “I have one in my van!” As she responds to Pam wearing a shirt with holes cut out for her nipples - the general decay and trash of her van and driving skills - “like Clooney!” In regards to remaining single - her treating St. Patrick’s Day like the best day ever and not needing to worry or take care of her kids / son - her dress on casual day and the lack of undergarments - explaining to Dwight that she still has a vagina after her hysterectomy
Omg Erin during her lunch with Michael lol I forget how great the whole damn scene is Kinda weird though how Michael dislikes her here yet in earlier episodes he seems to connect with her in a quirky way
My favorite Michael/Erin moment is him celebrating in his office after finding out Holly didn’t get engaged
You know, season 6 isn’t as bad as I thought it was. I think I mix in bad episodes from other seasons into 6 by accident. Dwight at the gym and taking over the bike class are fantastic scenes lol. Date Mike fucking kills me with that hat. I think the issue I have with 6 / later seasons is that the great moments don’t stand out as easily as earlier seasons. Maybe I’ve watched 2-4 too many times so they’re burned in my memory while 5-9 have only been seen like 10 times each. Also I feel like if you watch the series is a pretty short period of time the lows don’t feel as low compared to watching individual seasons in clusters or if you watched the show while it aired. I imagine shit like “Koi Pond” and “Mafia” would be much harder to get through and leave a worse impression if that’s all you got for a week.
Randomly just laughed out loud like a lunatic remembering the scene where Dwight says Jim’s body has the build of Popeye’s wife.
somewhere in early season 6. can't find it mostly because Jim / Pam dressed upas Popeye and Olive Oil in season 7 (or 8) for Halloween so when i google the phrase that's what comes up instead of the actual quote lol i'll find the episode sometime this week and report back
another random thought during work: there is a lot of cheating going on in this show Phyllis - it's hinted at A LOT during season 7 that Phyllis cheats on Bob Michael - dates that woman from the bar ("adult arcade" as he calls it lol) who's cheating on her wife with Michael Angela - cheats on Andy with Dwight Stanley - cheating on his wife Oscar - cheats with the State Senator who is dating Angela Ryan - just assuming he's cheating on Kelly throughout lol
I actually saw something online the other day that suggests Phyllis is having an affair. I’ve never caught the signs. What evidence is there?
things recently noticed, and maybe it was the same damn episode: - Phyllis comments that the Bob's warehouse crew flirts with her and she says, "but i usually don't let it go too far" (then the camera goes to a typical Jim camera face) - Michael is calling the office hypocrites for saying he's bad for knowingly sleeping with a woman who's cheating on her husband and says something along the lines of, "Angela cheated on Andy, Stanley cheats on his wife, Phyllis cheats" and the camera cuts to her and she looks absolutely horrified and then Michael quickly says, "on her diet", and then the camera cuts back to Phyllis who looks a little relieved but still quite traumatized by Michael almost saying something in front of everyone.
I never caught that either. Great point. She’s also so suspicious of Bob Vance. Maybe it’s her guilt speaking?
I feel like every time Michael has one of those moments it’s when he’s about to state the truth. He doesn’t have those pauses / change what he’s gonna say when he’s just making shit up which makes me think it’s true. Now, HOW he would know this is a whole different story haha
That could be. Just the season before she was nervous about Bob’s new secretary. I’m curious if they drop any more into or possible vague references going forward.
Oh Lordy, one of my favorite lines of the series: “let me take a look at the circus board” (Kevin s7 ep1) in reference to the CIRCUIT board in the elevator. Lolololololol Although what bugs me about this scene is why the fuck Pam would believe that Kevin knows anything about re-wiring an elevator circuit board lol That whole scene is great, “look away freak!”
i feel like ryan might be one of the few people not cheating, lol. also, just watched the andy/sweeney todd episode and it might be one of my favs.
Wasn't he also trying to get Amy Adam's number from Jim while they technically were still dating in Email Surveillance which was before Booze Cruse when Jim broke it off with her.
