Doing my 884736th rewatch. Season 3 is so god damned perfect. Every episode is amazing. Wish I could find a good photo of Michael wearing that hilariously oversized Microsoft Office button up he wears at the convention in S03E02
Dwight: If I was the real Scranton Strangler, you'd be so strangled right now. If you're out there, strangler, you will get caught! By me. Jim: Sounds like someone's really trying to convince us that he's not the Scranton Strangler. Dwight: To my chickens I'm the Scranton Strangler.
Underrated scene I love: Michael getting creeped out by David Wallace and Wallace slowly following him as Michael backs out of the driveway constantly waving lol
Also, Michael sitting back down to finish his food after Wallace shakes his hand and opens the door for him in NY
The first 3 seasons of this show are my go to home sick/rainy day program. I can’t properly articulate it, but they just make me feel so incredibly cozy.
This is my second night in my new apartment and for the first 24 hours I didn’t have cable or internet so I spent my downtime watching S2 eps last night and this morning
i always liked Wallace, but dude was awful at his job / reading situations so it's no surprise DM went under and he lost his job too. after YEARS of knowing Michael Scott, he allows him to have the comedy sketch act at the company picnic and doesn't require knowing what the skit is beforehand? that's just setting yourself up for disaster, which it was ("how did Robert Dunder kill himself?", "Which branch is closing next?"). and hiring Ryan for Jan's position after essentially doing nothing as a temp just because he has his MBA. lots of troubling decision-making there.
Omg the way Erin throws Michael the scissors in “Sabre” kills me. She throws them like a lunatic, Michael catches them blades first and doesn’t have any reaction to how she throws them and Pam’s reaction is amazing lol Of course the downside of this episode is that it introduces us to Gabe, which pretty much cancels out all the good
I always liked David Wallace because he seemed like a legitimately really nice guy. They could have very easily made that character an asshole Also I liked Gabe but I love Zach Woods lol
Haha David Wallace is so conflicting for me. I like him because he does really seem like a nice guy in person, but then hes kind of a shitty guy off-camera. Like spending money frivolously, sending Holly away, etc.
That scissor scene is so good. Definitely one of my favorites. As for Gabe, I love that character. He’s just so sad. When everyone is in the conference room and he comes in with a cupcake for himself and says “Happy Birthday to Gabe!”, i just lose it every time.
I just watched the episode where they throw a roast for Michael. I love when Michael gets upset and goes to a playground to feed the pigeons and tosses full slices of bread on the ground.
best part is that it's fucking winter lol and later when he says they must have flown west for the winter lol also Stanley's laugh when Michael tells him he's fat and his heart sucks
Lmao "Stanley, you crush your wife during sex and your heart sucks. Roasted" Also liked "Where's Angela? Oh sorry I couldn't see you behind that grain of rice. Roasted."
