the episode where darryl gives him the scarf/gloves he got for Val is hilarious every time, as well as the scene where he tries to keep telling andy that he's hard of hearing
I just watched the episode where they’re trying to figure out who vandalized Pam’s mural and Dwight gets his attention by telling him his mother is dying again. Like he does it all the time. Hahaha
“I think nana makes some good points.....what kind of word is nana anyway?” “It means grandma” “Sweet jesus.”
Halfway through season nine. It’s... not good. Don’t like the Jim/Pam storyline. The choices with Andy and Erin are bad. I have seven episodes left... heard the finale is great but with the rest of it being messy, I don’t know if I’ll enjoy it. Hoping I’m wrong!
The first time I watched it, my binge slowed to a sporadic crawl the first half of 9. It does end well though
Season 9 was definitely rough. It also had its moments too. If you've made it this far, at least finish it. The last few (especially the finale) are fantastic.
8 is pretty bad but it's mostly cause Andy was a terrible choice to replace Michael and it's too bad because Robert California was hilarious and I've always thought he got too much blame for that season
This thread is literally the same conversation over and over. Every few months someone gets to season 8 and it reignites haha
Yea 8 was the worst and a struggle through my first re-watch. They bounce back but have said before adding trouble within the PB & J marriage seemed a little too late at that point in the series. But yea, from what I remember the finale wrapped it up fine. For re-watches I usually stop once Michael leaves. IMO they should have used the last two or three episodes to wrap the series up for good and ended on 7 seasons.
I think the new Dwight kid in season 9 was the best addition to the show since probably Holly. Him or maybe Nate. They were both hilarious.
I know it’s been said a thousand times and the discussion never changes but the one thing almost everyone seems to agree on is that Nellie wasn’t great, haha. Also, as the years pass it becomes more bizarre to me that Andy was chosen as manager, especially because Ed Helms was absent from the show so much. Dwight or Jim would have been better I guess.
I understand why they didn't want to do Dwight or Jim, but Darryl would have been an interesting choice if they really preferred to stay in-house
