Those are good choices. That would be very tough for me to do, but I'll say that Money is my favorite episode overall. It has everything and great cinematography to boot.
The part in Money that always has me dying is when they're debating who vs. whom and Kelly responds to "How did Ryan use it, as an object?" with "Ryan used me as an object."
I love it when Michael thinks Toby's on his side of the debate and then realises he actually isn't. "No one asked you anything ever, so whomever's name is Toby why don't you take a letter opener and stick it into your skull."
For three years now, my fiance and I fall asleep to different season disc of The Office every night. We are trying to incorporate Office quotes into our vows for our wedding. This show is one of our all time favorites.
Product Recall is up there for me probably solely because of the line "...they are trying to make me an escapegoat. If I am fired, I swear to god that every single piece of copier paper in this town is going to have the F word on it."
I've been rewatching this recently because my girlfriend has never seen it. I forgot just how great season 2 is.
Same on the first part haha. I don't like S2 as much as most people (though it's still very good) but S3 is amazing
Season 2 was my favorite for a long time, but season 4 and 5 seem the be the ones I watch the most these days.
Deposition and Dinner Party are the highlights of season 4 for me. Michael's scenes in those are hilarious.
I love those both too. "Kind of an oaky afterbirth." "And you were directly beneath her the entire time?" "That's what she said." Fuck there are just so many quotes
"Dis ray. My friend Dis Ray got new specs. Dis ray spect. My friend Inappro drives a Prius with his behind neighbor."
S2 + 3 are definitely the best. S4 + 5 are very good but a little inconsistent; I think the writer's strike and the subsequent cutting of episodes ruined the flow of S4 a little bit but it's still really good. S5 had this weird run of about three episodes where it was totally joyless and actually pretty depressing and then it got really strong towards the end.
It's around the climax of the Dwight/Angela/Andy love triangle. Moroccan Christmas is one of the worst episodes they ever did IMO, which says a lot given that its cold open was one of the best they ever did.
