I can see why people would clap for a prologue although I’d rather not. Clapping for a trailer would be truly bizarre.

No one where I live claps at the theater. They sit through the entire end credits and then silently walk out once the lights turn on. That’s more of my vibe now.

 

That prologue is jaw dropping. Whole theater burst into applause at the end

 

people clapped for the trailer for licorice pizza during a rep screening of raging bull four years ago (the theater was one of the first in the world/country that got to see it before everyone else)

Nolan doing sand and sandals is gonna be fascinating
