I saw an interview with Damon asking about another Bourne movie and he talked about it needing to be worthy of the trilogy, completely and rightfully ignoring “Jason Bourne.”

  3. this was really good but not great imo. excited to see again though.

didn't think the sound was too loud other than the scene where the boat separates. also, i don't have epilepsy, but man that scene needed a warning or something lol

Top 3 theater experience for me and I don’t think it’s 2 or 3. Going back on Tuesday.

Got a standing ovation. Have never seen that before

insane to me that some folks prejudices are going to keep them from experiencing this movie… and the actors those people are throwing a fit about have maybe 4? minutes of combined screen time in a 3 hour movie.

Fucking dorks. It’s going to continue to be interesting to see how these people cope with this very much not being a commercial and critical failure like they were so convinced it was going to be.

Hearing James Blake in the credits was like a smoking a cigarette after sex

I will certainly use the gif of the guy jumping in the water every time David takes the bait on a horny post (aka everyday).

His intro being him throwing a puppy off of a cliff and getting a big laugh was pretty great.

Him or Daniel Pemberton (Project Hail Mary) would both be fine choices

I really really loved the way the Sirens scene was done.

Nolan knew he couldn’t pick a song better than “Didn’t Leave Nobody But The Baby” from O Brother Where Art Thou? So he didn’t even try

Our 70mm broke during the first screening. So I went to another theater where I could watch it in 70mm but no imax or imax but no 70mm. How confusing. Ended up going with 70mm regular. Should have just protested and watched a bootleg on an iPod touch.

I thought there was 70mm IMAX, other IMAX and then just other movie theaters...?

I am a little confused on the formats

I kinda thought it was just IMAX and not IMAX, but that there were some IMAX theaters that were "true" IMAX and some were not, even though I don't really know what that means.... but apparently there are a lot more options that that

I might go see this at whichever normal theater I can get tickets to now and then try to go see it at the 70mm IMAX in Providence in a little while when there are more seats available

That’s absolutely what I’d recommend. Go see it however you can. IMO you’re not gonna miss anything visually with a cropped image.

First 70mm iMax experience for this last night, absolutely awesome.

Not sure how I feel about the movie overall, it’s an undeniable achievement and flawlessly executed, but the story itself is just not my favorite. It did come together really well for the ending , and the Troy stuff was fucking incredible.
