I only had trouble with when there were characters talking and Nolan still had the crowd noises cranked up. Otherwise, totally agree.

It definitely was loud and sometimes I missed a line here and there, but the movie was cool as shit so I don't care that much.

The Cyclops design was better than I imagined, with its eye all sideways like he was hideously deformed.

And holy shit, the effects involving Circe were full blown body horror.

Maybe western Pennsylvania Cinemarks got a less loud version of the movie.

(Speaking of movie experience. Forgot to mention this, but the house lights randomly turned on for a couple minutes at one point. Feel like this is the second time this calendar year this has happened, though I forget the other movie it was for.)

This was awesome, everyone was great in it and I was all in right from the start. The cinematography and sound were great!

Speaking of the sound, my dad brought earplugs and was still covering his ears a lot throughout the movie but he’s a guy in his 70s who doesn’t love loud noises so I don’t blame him haha.

One of my dad’s longtime friends son plays a bandit/priest in Pylos and it was very cool seeing him in a scene with Matt Damon

I don’t blame the movie but the action sequences of this are 100% the loudest thing I’ve ever seen in theaters

I saw it today in 70mm, just blown away. Can’t say I’ve ever seen a near 3 hour movie and not felt like it dragged at points. Nolan did an incredible job with the screenplay.

Maybe if I end up with a slow day I’ll go see it in some IMAX format but I was happy enough with 70mm

It is so funny how the morons who were crying woke have to either put their tail between their legs because it’s destined to be the new classic dad movie or try and make up some new excuse for why it’s bad because it’s pretty beloved so far and making bank hand over fist.

The Bourne series is really all about Jason just trying to find a place to call home, if you really stop to think about it.
