Crazy how, despite all the advances in camera tech, the IMAX camera is still stupendously large, haha

 

This kicked ass

 

Our 10 am showing here in Chicago was sold out. Pretty insane.

 

That’s mostly just a case to block the sound because they’re incredibly loud

 

Absolutely cackled when the sound went out side by side when they were putting wax in their ears. What a picture. What an accomplishment.

 

dude I knew that was gonna happen lol

My loud sound alert went off on my Apple Watch

 

Not having read “The Odyssey,” I thought The Sirens just caused men to get so aggressively horny that they basically led them to their doom. I thought Odysseus‘s description of it was really interesting and goes way beyond that. Wasn’t sure if that was Homer or Nolan’s interpretation.

 

Multiple people around me were covering their ears at times.

 

I was thinking of the Parkway Drive song

 

What a fucking movie ass movie.

And I'm starting to think Jon Bernthal just plays Jon Bernthal. I'm cool with it.

 

I honestly miss seeing a movie in auditoriums like this.

 

This was fucking brilliant, near 3 hour movie and it felt like it was a 2 hour film because how fast paced it was and I would love to see Samantha Morton get Oscar nominated.. hell even actually win!

 

I knew this would be a meme the moment the gates opened

 

I didn’t think the movie was that loud ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

I also thought the dialogue was the easiest to understand for a Nolan film in quite a bit. The sound mixing was much improved.
