But it tracks, wouldn't it? You certainly wouldn't recreate a Greek epic myth in live action without spending a lot of money.
I recreated about 5 epic Greek myths in my high school drama class and my parents loved them Budget: $15 usd
Awesome, I love his movies but was hoping for a Nolan original. Anything he does I enjoy but I prefer his own movies like Memento or Tenet.
I'm going full Reddit Nolan Bro for this. This sounds absolutely insane. Possibly one of the blankest blank checks anyone has ever gotten besides Coppola, Cameron, Spielberg or Lucas
upon further review (read: watching interstellar in imax a little while ago), none of his movies are any worse than pretty good. not open for discussion
though even some of his better films have some flaws, enough of which to suggest he’s not above making his first ever bad film
I’d say the films of his with the fewest flaws are Oppenheimer, The Dark Knight, and (surprisingly for me) Dunkirk.
to engage in good faith, i think he is more good than bad but he hardly has a flawless filmography great: the prestige dunkirk oppenheimer good: memento batman begins the dark knight fine: following interstellar bad: insomnia inception yikes: the dark knight rises tenet
Put Inception and Insomnia in the ‘fine’ section and I’d agree with that. I tried to rewatch TDKR and…..damn. It does not hold up. I’m not sure what it is but the acting is probably the worst in his entire filmography. Maybe it’s the dialogue because it also has some of his worst lines.
