Nothing more profound than realizing I'm the same age as Melinda Clarke was when filming the first season...
This was a first time 2020 quarantine watch for me. I was in Middle School during the show's initial run, so maybe because I am of the gen that was super into this that it felt so familiar to me. Mostly great tv aside from some pretty baffling decisions (especially in Season 3). Season 1 > Season 4 > Season 2 > Season 3
Yea...I saw that it's back on Hulu. I'll probably start it again in the fall. I'm excited to hear all the soundtrack gems sprinkled throughout.
I started this for the first time in the first few months of quarantine and then stopped like halfway through s2 for some reason. Maybe I’ll pick it back up soon.
And then Zach takes Seth’s place at the restaurant table with George Lucas, and we never hear from him/that plot point again? You’d think a major character meeting George Lucas would somehow create a new storyline, haha. And checking the Wiki page for season 3, it seems we never hear from Zach again
lol I only watched it like a year ago but I forgot how Zach just disappears, definitely bothered me at the time
They just finished the series on the rewatch podcast. Wild how many little things I forgot throughout the years.
If you lost interest during 2 then s3 might be a little slow/rough. But it really picks up in s4 and 5 might be my favorite overall.
Season 3 is a baffling slog with truly insane choices for the worst. season 4 is the fuck it let’s get weird season and it’s for the best. One of the show’s better seasons
Season 1 is so good but also way too long. We could have gotten 5 or 6 seasons if they had spaced stuff out a little bit more
ya, my friends mostly hate 4 and rate 3 as decent, but i don't get it. 3 is stupid, 4 is silly - there's a huge difference between those two things and 4 is way better for it it also helps that taylor turns into a good character in 4
