Best line in the series?

Rewatching the first season, and it's crazy how much happens in just one season. I had forgotten that the Oliver stuff was season one.

Also, Sandy Cohen is the best character ever.

 

My lil sis is watching for the first time and is shocked how many episodes there are in the first season lol.

 

There's like three seasons worth of plot, too!

 

This show got me through high school haha.

 

I'm from Chino and I remember EVERYONE in junior high talking about this after it premiered and how the main character was from chino. And then the mayor wanted the creator of the show to apologize because chino isn't as shitty as depicted in the show haha.

 

Basically everyone I've ever met from Chino has to add a disclaimer that it's not that bad lol. It's really not.

 

Lol my lil sis is watching the show for the first time. I saw I got a bunch of texts in a row and thought it was some emergency and it was just this

 

Peter Gallagher showed up on New Girl recently and it was like he was playing Sandy Cohen all over again. So great.

 

I rewatched Sex, Lies, and Videotape recently and didn't enjoy seeing him be an asshole

 

Yes my sis got to that iconic scene!! Idk how I went from talking about my rewatch to my sister's first viewing of it but whatev!

Im the only person that will probably find this funny but that still of Trey after being shot, my friend edited Kanye lyrics on it years ago to say "Bitch is you smokin reefer?" And just seeing his face like that cracks me up so bad.

 

I'm just going to bring this thread back because I'm FINALLY able to watch shows/my dvds again on my new TV, after three months, so naturally, I had to get right into The O.C. again, and start my annual series watch in the summer with my sister. Right now we're picking random episodes, but I want to do another rewatch. Ugh, I missed my California friends.

 

I'm watching this show for the first time. I got spoiled about Marissa shooting Trey but somehow I've gone at least 10 years without knowing that The Lonely Island sketch was a reference to anything.

I feel like that was supposed to be a dramatic moment but I did an actual spit take with the beer I was drinking

 

I was very happy to see this thread bumped because I like thinking about this show

I spun Mix 2 from this show a few weeks ago and it was awesome.

 

We need a Chorus O.C. Rewatch! Been watching episodes from Season 1 today, and I have so many feels. I ship Ryan & Marissa so much.

PS: Have we all heard about Mischa Barton appearing on The Hills revival?
