The VVitch was amazing; The Lighthouse was wack. This was super dope

The lighthouse is great.

 

One of the greats.

 

Arguably better than the Witch! idk if I actually agree with that, but they're neck and neck

 

They're both incredible but I think The Lighthouse is a step up.

 

I think The Lighthouse might be better imo but it's so hard to say

 

Both of them are wonderful with a lot in common: faithful period recreations from scenery to dialogue, exceptional scores, and incredible acting.

But The Lighthouse's penchant for exceptionally timed absurdist humor that cuts through the bleakness of it all...next level.

 

I liked The Lighthouse but didn’t like The Witch at all. This one looks cool!

I think The Witch is more enjoyable to watch but The Lighthouse is also amazing and every bit as well made.

 

I prefer The VVitch

I think the Witch is a five-star film and The Lighthouse is like *just* behind it. But I also think The Lighthouse is the more unique and enjoyable watch

 

Both are great. I think The VVitch is more impressive

 

The Witch is good but The Lighthouse has way more going on visually and thematically and has two legit all timer lead performances, especially Dafoe

 

lighthouse probably the "better" film but man it did not do it for me like it did everyone else

it has more going on, but I can’t say I enjoyed it as much as what was going on in The VVitch
