Me too, it felt like we were waiting years for the first one.

 

yea by the time that first album came out it felt like I had listened to The Outfield for years.

 

Crazy that it's been less than a year since the last album came out. Feels like I've seen them write two new albums worth of material on Instagram already.

I think he's at Tom Lord Alge's studio, not CLA

 

a mutual friend of Izzy and I told me CLA's doing the mix that's all I got, man.
Also you don't necessarily have to be in the studio to do the mix. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

though it's not like Tom is significantly worse.

 

No need for the snark. You don’t have to be at the studio to mix, but Martin’s been at Tom’s place in Florida working on the mixes (as seen on his Instagram story).

 

Wasn’t trying to be snarky sorry if it came off that way.

Good catch; that's what I thought. I assume he's been spending this time working on marketing, potential music videos, tour plans, all that.

Yeah, it's still just 18 months since the last release, so he's probably not rushing it. I would loooove to have a new album out within the next 5-6 months though. Judging by all the instastory clips, this will be a perfect summer album.
