Yeah that's the most egregious cut, imo, followed by Disraeli Gears. Also, you know I'm opposed to how many comps they have in here, but Legend is actually important and culturally impactful in its own right. Cutting it to put Beyonce's 5th best album in the top 100 is insanity.
Wait they just cut stuff from the middle...instead of like, adding 10 and then taking 490-500 off? That makes no sense!
It does if you’re disingenuous hacks who want the headlines for including Swift, Beyonce, Rodrigo, and Bad Bunny while doing zero work
Yeah I might get tarred and feathered if I admitted that I think her Lion King album wipes the floor with it
Have we ragged on the batshit Apple Music 100 Greatest Albums of All Time List yet? Some truly wild choices on this thing. Apple Music 100 Best Albums

Jagged Little Pill at 31 is an odd choice. I mean, I dig Alanis Morissette, but #31 on the Greatest Albums of All Time? I dunno...
These lists are always an exercise in futility, but even more so if they aren’t at least accompanied by some sort of explanation for why each album was chosen and placed where it was.
This really isn’t that crazy in my opinion. Pretty much all of these albums have been on a number of other similar lists. It’s obviously trying to take a stab at including some modern albums too and the choices they’re going with are pretty easy to understand
What are we betting shows up in their top 20? I'm thinking: Guarantees: Nirvana - Nevermind Joni Mitchell - Blue Marvin Gaye - What's Going On The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds Lauryn Hill - The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill Fleetwood Mac - Rumours (putting my chips on this as their number 1) Michael Jackson - Thriller Amy Winehouse - Back to Black Frank Ocean - Blonde Adele 21 Liz Phair - Exile in Guyville Artists feel locked but could be different albums: Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp a Butterfly (Good Kid?) Taylor Swift - Red (1989?) Bob Dylan - Blood on the Tracks (Highway 61 or Blonde on Blonde?) Fiona Apple - Fetch the Bolt Cutters (could really be any of them) Jay-Z - The Blueprint (Reasonable Doubt?) R.E.M. - Automatic for the People Coin toss: The Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream Phoebe Bridgers - Punisher Dr. Dre - The Chronic
