according to Twitter they didn't actually use reshoots and this has just been in the Disney vault for years lol

 

From what I understand, 20th Century had them doing massive reshoots before the merger, but Disney decided the original cut of the film is the most serviceable cut. And according to the director, the marketing is going to be much more "Marvel." Or something along those lines.

 

Damn that sucks. I was excited for it to be more rated R-ish.

 

So they aren't using reshoots? Wasn't there a whole thing that they were doing reshoots to "be more Marvel-y"? I'm not sure if this is a good/bad thing, I just need to see it now.

 

I'm into it.

My biggest hype. I've rewatched those parts like 3 times in 5 minutes.

Please, please, if there is any good to come of the Fox X-Men universe, let them pull these characters into the MCU. Illyana is my fave and ATJ is just perfect casting.

Liking the tone. VFX look like they could be a little rough. We'll see.

 

Looks fantastic. Still have my hesitations with how much this has been pushed back, but I'm excited to see it.

 

As someone who doesn't know much about X-Men outside of a few crossover comics and the 90s cartoon, can someone list who each of these kids' characters are? Curious to read about their powers and whatnot

The hospital looks kind of similar to that orphanage from Deadpool 2 to me but maybe I'm completely nuts
