Just fucking give it to us. This has been my most anticipated X-Men related film since it was announced and the constant delays are stupid

 

The talk of Disney+ w/ this is as silly as it is w/ Defenders. Not that it's impossible, but thinking about what New Mutants is supposed to be, & what Disney+ is supposed to be... If it DOES get dropped on streaming, it's probably gonna be Hulu.

 

Disney confirmed that this is on tap to be released, but didn't give a date.

Screen Rant didn't have a lot of details, other than that it is coming out this year.

Wouldn't Disney want to get this out asap and get it over with, assuming they're going to scrub everything Fox-related besides Deadpool?

 

Honestly there's no reason to keep sinking any amount of money into trying to "fix" it. It's going to get retconned once they decide what they want to do with the X-Men anyway. Besides, how much money is this thing realistically going to make, honestly?

Either cancel it or just dump it on Disney+ when it launches and hope everyone forgets about it.

 

I'm not updating the thread title or first post until this actually comes out.

Wonder if they're still gonna attempt reshoots so long after the fact, w/ this younger cast. My guess is that the lack of marketing & needing to restructure the combined Disney Fox schedule are the main motivations. If nothing else, though, they should spend this year coming up w/ a post credits scene that can be a proper farewell to the Fox X-Men franchise, like pulling in a bunch of cast members from the original films.

Also, reminder that the Sunspot casting is racially crap.
