I watched it. The general idea of the series is interesting and it had some cool individual moments but as a whole it is such a slog to get through, and the conclusion is not satisfying at all.

 

Probably doesn’t help that I can’t differentiate Miles Tellers face from a puddle of spilled milk

 

Ugh sucks to hear. I want to get to it at some point, though.

Refn said that and it's true to some degree but I don't know why anyone would watch it that way.

 

The first episode was very good, second was a chore to get through (I’ve heard it’s the worst). Haven’t gone past that yet. The aesthetic is basically slow cinema pushed to the extreme (which you basically never see in television) so I guess I get why people are so put off by it
