Dropped album last August, wyd fam

Holy shit. Ready for this.

 

Was not expecting this at all but I’m sooooo here for it

 

SWB is probably one of my favorite albums of the decade so I’m betting this is gonna be sick

 

revisiting SWB after a long min - probably my fav National album

(not a fan of other post-Boxer albums for some weird reason)

 

I prolly go back to High Violet the least of their last 5 or 6 records, although those songs are among their best in a live setting. TWFM and SWB are both 10/10 albums for me though.

 

Alligator - 10/10
Boxer - 10/10
High Violet - 10/10
Trouble Will Find Me - 10/10
Sleep Well Beast - 10/10

 

I give Boxer and HV a 9/10 but agree on the other three and honestly me even making a distinction is goofy

 

I am not a huge fan of swb but all the other four are at least good if not great

 

Wish I was closer. But I love that art.

 

Same night as Foxing/Now, Now in Toronto, ugh.

 

Gonna try and snag some tix to the NYC date.

 

Same. Really curious what “special evening” entails.

Did anyone actually get tickets? Instantly said sold out but website seems glitchy.

 

Are they on sale yet? I read the 2nd for the North American dates and 4th for the European dates.

 

Cherry tree presale was 11am EST

 

Cherry Tree released more tickets to NYC and LA tonight and I scored two this time

 

There is a podcast about Boxer called Coffee & Flowers which is out today on all the popular services.
