I was just listening modern bands. Bowie, Zeppelin, The Stones obvi

Neil Young might even lay claim to one of the longest streaks of great albums.

Even after listening to it pretty consistently since its release I still rock out to the solo in System Only Dreams every time

Is there a better quality leak than the vinyl rip out there yet? My vinyl should arrive on Thursday but I'm finding it desperately hard to refrain from listening.

Yeah for me it's Kanye, mewithoutYou (everything after AB Life), and the National. Maybe another few if I think harder.

Might just go for it then. I've only listened to ...System... out of the singles so I'm really wanting to go in fresh. This is the only thing that has the potential to dethrone Science Fiction for me as AOTY.

Strange how no one mentioned Beach House re: 5 great consecutive albums. (Maybe even 6? I still haven't heard their debut, I don't think.)

I mean i think that would be getting a little loose with the definition of great. I really like Depression Cherry and Thank Your Lucky Stars but I'd be reaching to call them GREAT.

I'd say Bloom and Teen Dream are great. The rest are very good. Don't get me wrong....one of the most consistent bands.

That's fair. I definitely don't think their run is the caliber of a group like The National or Radiohead, but I also think they're significantly better than a bunch of the other groups named so I wanted to toss their name out. Depression Cherry is my favorite tbh.
