I can't wait for this thread to pop off on Friday. It'll be like the brand new thread but for extra sad folk.

 

I am getting so antsy waiting for this. I adore TWFM and High Violet and love Boxer and Alligator a little more each time I listen to them. I've been as patient as I can be, not listening to any singles, and I'm ready for this to be the soundtrack to my fall semester.

 

At this point TWFM is my favorite by a long shot. But I'm glad to hear that they captured Alligator era vibes with this record.

 

Doing a discography run today while I do homework.

 

people are getting their vinyls so id imagine it will leak today or tonight at some point.

Currently drinking/home alone for the long weekend while my fiancee is out of town. It's night three of peak loneliness and I can't tell if this leaking is a terrible mistake or impeccable timing

i like the song a lot on its own but it does kinda feel out of place on the album on first listen

just finished I'll Still Destroy You and had to make myself not play it again. same thing happened on Walk It Back haha

It's difficult not to be hyperbolic about how good this is when at least half of the songs here are all-timers, haha. Currently contemplating whether it's acceptable to press play again on a 56-minute album (which does NOT feel that long) at 2:30 in the morning.

I think the leak is pitched/sped up a little bit so I've stopped listening, noticed it on Day I Die. Gonna hold out for better quality

 

I was kind of wondering if this was the case, but the singles sounded right to me and the album still clocks in at 56 minutes, so I wasn't sure

 

a leak that is not sped up is out there now, it's a lot better I heard.
