guess i'll be listening to the national today

 

I listened to the first two singles once each and I am so ready to dive in soon

 

Best fucking band in the world

Along with Converge of course

 

Sick that people have the self restraint to not listen to these songs but tbh I think my life is more sick because I have 4 new National tracks in my life already.

 

it'd suck if you all died before this album came out and didn't get to hear, like, Carin at the Liquor Store or Day I Die. it would also suck if you all died because i love fellow National fans.

 

Also, best band.

 

Do we have any ideas about features on this? The last three had some pretty high profile ones, but I haven't heard much about this record's.

 

What high profile features were on the last three records?

 

Sufjan plays on all three, Justin Vernon is on "Vanderlyle Crybaby Geeks" and Sharon Van Etten and Annie Clark were on TWFM.

As a married man, "Day I Die" hits pretty hard.

 

those clips from I'll Still Destroy You hit close to home for me. that last 10 second snippet leveled me earlier.
