They’re a bunch of Gen x graphic design guys and it shows

 

Been thinking about it, pretty sure the album is gonna be about a boy who tries to create a living mannequin to replace his missing/dead father. The boys name? Paul Frankenstein.

 

Bryce confirmed that that storyline is for their next album Paulnocchio.

 

So this is my decision point - do I sign up for cherry tree today?

 

It’s the best club just for the yearly vinyl - my volume 4 showed up today

 

you can wait for me to report back on vinyl options tomorrow I think, they don't lock stuff behind timed exclusives except for the yearly boxset!

 

Chances we get a tour announcement with the single?

 

I like the collectors edition live albums. They’re like a year behind the annual release for us due to COVID/production issues, but it’s still cool. For that and tickets, it’s worth it.

 

My bet is we get everything tomorrow with tickets going on sale Friday morning

Real backstory behind the photo and the kid:

That kid is the Doogie Howser of the cosmetology world who just came up with the hottest new makeup look: the forehead sticker concealer. He becomes the toast of the industry and graces the cover of every magazine, however, not all is sunshine lip gloss and rose eyelash pencils, as meanwhile the secret government organization known as B.L.U.S.H. finds his skills too powerful and they seek to capture

 

I no longer have a copy of Frankenstein, some post the first two pages of the book in here so we know what this album is about.

yeah, now i doubt we'll get a long record. but foxing's NMG was long and on a single lp.

Give me like a 33 minute national LP lol

 

they're definitely a band whose label can afford to get albums out on double vinyl if they need to, this is in the 43-48min range probably
