I took my 15 year old and I thought she was laughing a good amount but when I asked her what she thought she said it was ok and that she laughed "like once". Kids smh

 

Loved the YouTube ads on the security footage. Also the fact that the MMA arena was sponsored by NPR

 

the diarrhea/chili dog sequence was great

'Naked Gun': David Zucker Reacts to Reboot Movie's Opening Box Office

 

All credit to ZAZ for their contributions to comedy, but I shudder to think what a 70+ year old conservative would consider comedy in 2025.

 

In the article it looks like Zucker has nothing but nice things to say about MacFarlane & Schaffer even though he doesnt plan on seeing the movie. He also sounds very happy the movie is success (but probably for self serving reasons since he thinks he can get a spy spoof off the ground now)

 

There’s a video earlier in this thread where he is less diplomatic and a lot more critical of the new movie/project. It’s a good call that he’s playing nice and happy the movie is doing well because he wants to siphon off that momentum for his own scripts he wants to get made.
