Kind of disappointed in this TBH. It's pretty generic. Sounds like a lot of the other synth-pop out there right now.

 

I mean, I love this band, but this is no more "generic," if you must use that word, than Simple Forms is

Really didn't like Sunseeker but like that one. I dunno if it's just the "physical/critical" bit but it reminds me of Closer by Tegan and Sara.

 

Like it better than Sunseeker, ready to listen to this album about 500,000 times this year.

 

Loving the use of real drums on this as well (at least they sound like real drums), versus the easier tactic of resorting to synth drums that a lot of bands do right now

Finally got around to checking out this new track. It's almost like a happier Last Forever... like it a lot!
