A Johnny Depp Invisible Man would have been 10x worse that the one we got

 

Well yeah but all of those actors in an inevitable crossover film would have been nice

 

well, all of them except Depp

 

I wish they kept going with the dark universe. Why not. But fuck Depp.

 

What films is this referring to?

 

Tom Cruise and Sofia Boutella would play dual mummies. Johnny Depp as the Invisible Man. Russell Crowe as Doctor Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Javier Bardem as Frankenstein's monster.

 

They had cast Javier Bardem as Frankenstein's monster and yet the first Frankenstein film was going to be Bride of Frankenstein and they never even cast the Bride lol

I saw this the Sunday after a bachelor party in Chicago. Hungover as all hell, 90 degrees out. Slept like a baby in the AC and missed half the movie. The Mummy saved my life.

 

It’s good that the Dark Universe was attempted. It’s probably why Marvel is now using their weirder and darker characters.
