God damn the whole bloody affair is incredible. I haven’t watched them in about a decade so it really hit. No Fortnite at my screening.
How much new stuff is there? I might go Wednesday but kinda don’t want to sit in the theater for 5 hours.
The anime sequence is twice as long. The Crazy 88 fight is in color. Apparently there is an end credits scene but I walked out at the normal ending.
I had a ticket for 1:30 today but didn’t want to drive to a different Cinemark. Might see it Wednesday at my Cinemark but we’ll see.
The intermission is literally just the divide between Volume One and Two. It still feels like two films. Maybe it didn't when he was making it, but the editing and pacing choices made it into two movies.
Interesting, the animated sequence did feel long but , not having seen it so long I didn’t clock what was new. Maybe some of the elevator stuff? I also dipped out after the driving credits sequence.
It’s incredible. Punching out of the coffin is up there with Rocky on the steps in terms of motivational cinema sequences.
as critical as I am of Tarantino, I would kill to see The Whole Bloody Affair in theaters, but I really don't think I have time for that
