    There is something to be said for retiring with dignity, but more and more directors are making vital films into old age. Martin Scorsese is the gold standard, but Francis Ford Coppola made something as daring as Megalopolis in his-mid eighties. Eastwood is still delivering in his nineties.

    Yeah sure retire whenever you want but limiting yourself to 10 movies is very dumb. He’s going to keep cancelling movies because he doesn’t want it to be his last one.
