That looks like a blast. The Dark Harvest line had me rolling

 

I cannot freaking wait.

seeing this in just over a half hour

 

this is pretty good. the trailer kinda made it look way better than it ends up being but it's a fun and often heartwarming film. humor is kind of a mixed bag, and i thought it dragged a bit midway in. regardless, it's worth it just for danny mcbride's character

This movie was an absolute blast, a real rip roaring time, and really shows how much of a step forward Spiderverse was for visuals and animation. This movie just feels absolutely kinetic.

I just feel like the script is 5 years older than it should have been, they had a real chance for having an interesting deconstruction of patriarchal errors and a lot of the movie is in an apologetic tone, and I wish it was slightly more forward thinking in that familiar dynamic. [Edit - this is mostly relevant to the middle of the film, towards the end it elevates itself a bit more]

Really had a blast with the movie though - the first movie that is truly informed by new animation, such as Adventure Time, Amazing World of Gumball, and etc.
