Casey has heard one song btw so maybe his feelings will change when he hears the whole record. That said, expect a much drier and natural sounding record, very little reverb, vocals more forward than we've ever had them mixed, and some surprises/laughs.

Also, I get heavy Mineral vibes from a lot of this. So...

 

I still find this funny bc when nvr ur gf premiered on Brooklyn Vegan, there were people in the comments section that were like "does this band know that there's already a band called Mineral?" and stuff. Also bc none of us really listen to Mineral.

 

One emo band ever is plenty, apparently

 

based on the the avclub review for at the drive in there shouldn't be any emo bands because all it does is make people write horrible things
