Haha, I remember hanging out with Brett release day and he said he had to write a reminder to release it otherwise he would've forgot. I think that's the day he went and got that car top carrier thing.

Heh. Definitely sounds like Brett.

One time he broke his (relatively nice) stereo receiver, that he used for his turntable setup, by trying to play his guitar through it.

Haha, that sounds very Brett too. One of my favorite friends I'm not like super close to for sure. Seems like something interesting comes out of every time I see him.

Been a while since I've said anything here, so I guess I'll give as much info as I (think I) can.

The 7"s are currently in the pressing process, dates are being thrown around via email chains between Self-Aware and Broken World and us. It's looking like mid-November, but I can't guarantee that by any means whatsoever.

As far as future plans go, we hope to do a tour on the aforementioned 7" sometime at the beginning of next year, and we are also currently at work on our next full-length which we hope to have released some time later next year. We have 3 songs fully written for it thus far and I'm really excited about them. The writing process has been much more collaborative than it was on Cozy Body (this goes for the 7" songs as well) and I think the results speak for themselves. We're continually learning how to play off each other's strengths and it's a really cool thing imo. I'd describe what we have so far as our most intricate songs yet, we're playing more with song structure and even time signatures than we did on CB. We're super excited for you to hear what we come up with, eventually.

Anyway, we played a really awesome show last week at the Visulite Theater in Charlotte and managed to get a couple decent videos of two of the new songs, so I figured I'd share them here.
