Well, there's one main singer, Tyler Lyle, with Tim McEwan, the main producer/creator in the band, doing backup vocals and drums during the live show.
Excited to hear this; some absolute gems on Monsters, but I found Kids to be an overall more cohesive album. Love how this band continues to grow and give us a new version of themselves every time
The vibe I'm getting from these first three so far, is that this album will be an evolution of the "Endless Summer" sound, which I'm so here for
this album is great. idk where i rank it with their other works, but it's definitely better than Kids (my least favorite of their albums/EPs). also love how so many of these songs/lyrical motifs start out as solo songs by Tyler and then somehow make their way onto the band's records (Lost & Found, Brooklyn, Souvenir, B.F.L., some lyrics from Heroes, etc.)
Amazing album :) Arguably their most cohesive record and easily one of their best on first listen. Think you guys are going to love this one!
Yeah this is good guys. Also in a weird round about way, getting some Tunnel of Love by Springsteen vibes off this record.
After my first listen through, my ranking 1. Monsters 2. Kids 3. Endless Summer 4. Heroes I’m just not getting the same memorable melodies/hooks/sounds I got from their previous albums
