I'm going through highlights and some new stuff I haven't heard from both bands soon. Obviously not hitting everything because that's too much music for me.

 

Glow Pt II one of the best albums ever recorded

 

I’m not gonna lie...I feel like it’s a little drawn out tbh

 

I'd agree that it's a little long but the majority of that album is incredible.

 

Best album, wouldn’t change a single thing about it

 

I mean, a lot of that album feels less like you're supposed to listen to it as an album and more ruminative or meditative. Like, it's corny to say, but it's an experience akin to just sitting outside in the woods for a while

I think I've heard every "studio album" from both projects as he was a huge deal for me when I was just getting out of high school but sadly I forgot to re-download anything but Glow Pt. II when I got my last computer and still need to change that. Might do Don't Wake Me Up and It Was Hot tomorrow

 

I have more Phil records than any other artist. They’re all beautiful. Really need Winds Poem.

Pre-Human Ideas. On it are different renditions of songs recorded on his other albums. But despite being songs we’ve heard before they are entirely their own thing. It is such a fucking chill record and I highly recommend checking it out. And it was all recorded on Garageband lol

 

will check it out, I'm interested. I assume it's reimagined mouth eerie, not so much reimagined microphones, but sounds dope either way

((the mount eerie stuff just seems more meticulously done than a lot of the microphones stuff in terms of arranging is all the above is referencing))

 

yeah its all Mount Eerie songs. its a really cool project. a lot of Clear Moon and Ocean Roar songs.

 

oh cool I'm less familiar with ocean roar so that should be cool

 

1 week till i see Phil live. i cannot believe it.

 

Learned the riff from "I Want Wind to Blow" so naturally I've been sitting here playing it over and over and over for 2 hours
