I unfortunately did not. Was having some issues at work that afternoon and by the time I would have made it out there I would have missed Pelican so I just scrapped thw whole thing. I've seen both bands before and they're both amazing live.

darkest hour was great, glad I finally got to see them. almost no one was at the show but I guess that’s what one month of promo and a Sunday night gets you in this city

 

I feel like these guys just haven't had the best luck for a while now when it comes to tours; every time I've seen them the crowd is a bit lackluster. I guess the global break during COVID didn't help them, and how it took them so long to get an album out after, even though bands had already started touring and releasing music several years ago. Hopefully in the future they can get some support slots for some much bigger opening bands; they've been around so long and produce such solid music, that they deserve to be bigger.

Well they only did a four show run of headliners coming off of an opening run with some bands I can’t remember who and this show was only just announced like a month ago so I wasn’t terribly surprised but the room was definitely way too big (1000 cap, maybe 200 people there). Should’ve been at the duck room or something which is where I’m seeing that full of hell/harms way coheadliner

Been a while since we had a good ol' fight about Tool. It's refreshing hahaha.

I've never listened to them so this is just environmental entertainment

 

Tool makes great music but they have incredibly obnoxious fans.

 

My take: Tool are great musicians with a couple of decent songs and a lot of bad ones and yeah the fans are mostly annoying

 

Danny and Justin are a top five rhythm duo and I’ll be outside if people wanna fight about it

 

That said, Maynard is one of the most annoying people on the planet and his fans are even more obnoxious

 

Putting Tool aside for a moment, do you think the lawsuit has merit? I mean, if I shelled out that much money with the promise of two unique sets and didn't get it, I'd feel ripped off too. It could set a precedent.

Thinking about those Saosin shows that promised all eras and failed to deliver. Just wondering what the temperature is on this.
