Ex 36 Crazyfists singer Brock's new band has a new single and it instantly took me back to the mid 00s. Very Killswitch Engage, not unlike the metalcoreish direction 36 Crazyfists took at that time.

he's been saying awful things for a while that the band seemed to shrug emoji as "that's just brent" for years now so I wouldn't be surprised if they just got tired of it

 

I imagine the band finally got tired of his wild antics and kicked him out. Supposedly Brann had a black eye at an event the band was at yesterday so maybe…

 

dude was a shitheel to the guitar tech and soundboard person when i saw them on the crack the skye tour in 2010, but it seemed like he cleaned up his act in recent years from afar. i haven't been following them particularly closely so with this context added, it makes a lot more sense.

 

he's said homophobic and anti-vax stuff the last few years and I've heard some secondhand stories with someone I trust on the matter than it sounds like for the best of the band to remove him and figure out the live stuff afterwards

 

Saw him play a Fiend Without a Face show in a tiny venue a decade or so ago and he was tripping balls, running around the venue jumping on random people and at one point grabbed a dude (I think/hope he knew him) and forced a tab into his mouth.

 

Yikes to all of the above.

 

He seemed totally checked out, like he had actual disdain for the band as a job or the music they were playing in some interviews and bits I've read.
