I literally was doing the same thing this morning. I've always slept on whitechapel and it's not all what I expected it to sound like.

Best place to start as a newb besides just top played on spotify? The Saw is the Law to Hickory Creek was jarring.

 

Also damn - these guys are great. Never heard of them, but started with the newest release and 5 songs in and it's all bangers so far. I really like the vocals. They're more on the hardcore side. I also really like the guitar tone, and how chunky and chuggy the riffs are with a lot of treble to them vs all bassy.

 

Maryland Deathfest this weekend. Whomp whomp.

Saw Trap Them and ETID in 2010 in a 400cap that had at least 600 people in it. Tiny room above a larger venue. I had a blast but definitely felt like the floor was gonna cave in the entire show.

Besides just feeling packed, I know it was over cap bc the door guy told us and others, "it's sold out but just go ahead"

The only time I saw them was in 2016(?) on their final tour with Yautja. Lead singer had broken both of his feet and played the entire set on his knees with both legs in casts. Was one of the most brutal things I've ever seen live.

 

would love to go see Gatecreeper and creeping death open for in flames tonight but I just had knocked loose loathe and show me the body last night I cannot do back to back shows in my 30’s

Wanna catch Gatecreeper/Creeping Death on Sunday but tickets are pushing $60 with fees. Really regret not getting one when they were $25 on concert week but I thought I might be going to Austin for Big Texas Metal Fest at the time (which sucks, I won't be able to go to now)

 

I'm skipping Gatecreeping death on Friday for the first night of Texas Metal Fest and I've been constantly going back and forth in my head about if it's a good idea or not.

 

I dig new Pallbearer. I appreciate them going for something different. Excited to scope out new Gatecreeper

 

I'd definitely go to BTMF on Friday over GateCreeping
