For some reason I went back and listened to Trivium’s Ascendancy, and I am here to report that album still rules? There’s a direct line in my current taste in music that went A7X’s Waking the Fallen in 03 when I was 12, to Killswitch Engage’s The End of Heartache in 04, to Trivium’s Ascendancy in 05. That was a pretty fun time in that era of “metal”.

Alive or Just Breathing still hits to this day

 

I never got into KSE or trivium but a7x, Atreyu, and bullet for my valentine were my shit and I saw them together in 08 on taste of chaos

 

I've had Numbered Days stuck in my head for the last week for whatever reason

 

I haven't listened to BFMV since The Poison, not sure if that should change or not.

 

I remember Fever or whatever the third album was named being pretty bad but I haven't really kept up with BMFV since. The Poison still holds up.
