Can confirm DMB live is legit. Saw him YEARS ago at SPAC in upstate NY.

 

They're super popular for a hyper specific generation (oldest millennials, youngest gen x) and they're entry level jam band for people who don't like (as much) drugs.

Guess I wasn’t really aware Dave Matthews was a household name outside of Cville. He lives a few miles from me and I occasionally see him at the farmer’s market. Saw DMB once with Neil Young at the UVA football stadium in 2001 and they were good. Haven’t listened much outside of that.

Gave the new Panopticon a couple spins. Some nice moments but really just more of the same, now with longer songs.

Missed their show with Devil Master and Final Gasp last week because it raining and the show was at this outdoor venue with gravel/dirt for the floor.

If Final Gasp is opening your show you should check them out. I've really been digging their record.
