I must admit, the burnout on new stuff has finally caught up to me. Since most of what I post for THRASH METAL THVRSDAYS are new releases, I haven't really had much to post which is why I haven't for several weeks. However I did manage to check out three recent releases this past week so I'm here to share for another edition

OV THRASH METAL THVRSDAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

First up, how about some independent thrash from Israel? I think this might be the first Israeli thrash band I've listened to. I'm not the biggest fan of the vox but the music goes hard. Album came out last week:

Next we have a Death/Thrash Metal/Hardcore Punk band from Cleveland/Denver. They just released a grimy 4-song 10-minute EP that's a quick and dirty listen:

Lastly, how about some Spanish raw black thrash, like Sodom/Bathory/Hellhammer? If that's your thing, you'll love the new album from Körgull the Exterminator (cool name). Came out August 1st:

Making it an Alcest day. Also I give huge props to Pat and Andy for hating on Black Country New Road in the recent newsletter. I just can’t stand that band and I’m glad I’m not the only one. Believe me I tried.
