Got a bit behind due to the last week of February involving the move, but here are all the new albums I listened to last month. Albums in bold I really enjoyed:

    Iron Void - IV
    Pantheon - Empire In Ruin
    Memoriam - Rise to Power
    Soulmass - Let Us Pray
    Palace of Worms - Cabal
    Sanguisugabogg - Homicidal Ecstasy
Schizophrenia - Chants of the Abyss
    Mithridatum - Harrowing

    Turbid North - The Decline
    Kollapse - Phantom Centre
Pest Control - Don't Test the Pest
Frozen Dawn - The Decline of the Enlightened Gods
Hellripper - Warlocks Grim & Withered Hags
Siege of Power - This is Tomorrow
    Ulthar - Anthronomicon/Helionomicon
    Tithe - Inverse Rapture
    Carnosus - Visions of Infinihility

Much stronger month than January, and ending on Hellripper/Ulthar definitely helped. High chance both of those end up in my top 10 for the year.

Now that we're mostly settled, it's time to get back into the groove.

    To the Texans in here:

Fugitive is playing a show in the parking lot of the Yellow Jacket Social Club in Austin on the 18th

I hate that it's on the 18th, conflicting with the SXSW showcase with Creeping Death, Escuela Grind, Callous Daoboys, Soul Glo and Militarie Gun. But Fugitive in a parking lot sounds like a blast.

Who else is playing with Fugitive because that Creeping Death bill is pretty stacked

It didn't dawn on me until now, but Lincoln plays drums in both Creeping Death and Fugitive, so the shows must not (completely) overlap

hello and welcome to another edition of THRASH METAL THVRSDAY YOU BOZOS RIP

I would like to start with the new album from Chicago based crossover/thrash band Oozing Wound, came out in January. I'll be honest - it's not really my thing (vocals are weird) but some here might like it. The only 2 similar artists on the archives are Power Trip and King Gizzard, so take that for what it's worth lol

Next we have another new album (came out last week) from Necropanther. It was posted in here recently (I forget by who) but it bears reposting. Melodic death/thrash from Denver similar to Skeletonwitch. Really enjoyed this one:

And lastly, a few deep cuts. First is the debut album from Danish tech thrashers Invocator, from way back in 1991. Just another early 90's thrash bands I missed - riffs like Dark Angel and vocals like Coroner.

Ending with another gem I stumbled upon. Didn't know there was an Indian heavy/thrash band out there? You do now, they're called Kryptos. Here's a track from their 2012 album:

    May your thrash forever rip.
