I for sure still find Meshuggah releases impressive, intriguing and fun despite knowing what to expect. Also one of my most streamed for the year. Somehow Boundaries also got in there despite me not really loving BB as much as the last LP.

 

Feels like the new Innumerable Forms is/would be up your alley.

trad metal is so good, Eternal Champion was my awakening in 2015 and it's been a journey ever since

They played the preshow for the Power Trip anniversary show but unfortunately I couldn't get tickets in time. Made it to the main show though.

 

IT'S THRASH GODDAMN METAL THVRSDAYS YOU HEATHENS

First up, the latest single from German black thrashers Cruel Force. FFO: Nocturnal, Desaster, Ketzer.

Next is a track by death thrashers Demiricous from their 2022 album, which was their first release since 2007 (they have since split up). According to the Metal Archives, their lyrical themes are personal issues, acting tough, and street life lol. FFO: Slayer I guess?

Lastly, we have more German thrash - lead single from the hilariously named Well Seasoned Christ. Album came out just a few weeks ago and they have less than 200 monthly listeners on Spotify and that needs to be changed:
