The obvious big ones for thrash would be Ripper and Vektor, though the latter is tech thrash.

If you are into any of the classics, a ton of them put out new albums this year: Testament, Megadeth, Sodom, Metallica, Anthrax

i can't decide if i like the body's solo record or their collabo from this year more

 

hahaha, pretty much. if it were instrumental i could maybe get into some of it but yeah, the vocals are straight out of an Alternative Press hype band.

the track he's featured on from the new Perturbator album is sick though.

what's everyone else thinking of ash borer? as of right now id put it above cold of ages but could just be honeymoon period with the album. its just so huge and a bit more straight forward with meatier riffs and a bit warmer production

Awesome crusty death metal out of Washington. These guys supposedly had a new album coming out this year, but I never heard a peep about it. :( Shame, because this is a killer release that just clicked with me.
