Came here to say this. Sucks that it leaked but I just finished my first listen and man, gonna be a contender for AOTY for sure.

Now I have no choice but to see them next week

 

i've been lucky enough to see them 3 times at this point, and they've gotten better live each time so you're in for a treat.

this is also one of those rare cases where a leak is making me pre-order the album even if the only vinyl available at this point is the standard black. don't even care.

 

Yeah this will be my third time as well. They are just so massive live.

Nergal has been like that for a good while unfortunately. It's a major bummer.

 

This. Nergal has been a line-toting dork for a while now. It's just been a lot more explicit in recent years with him posting a photo with the dude from Graveland and having a very dismissive attitude towards a sexual assault he supposedly witnessed...just a good old innocent orgy.

Behemoth to me is basically the black metal Five Finger Death Punch at this point so it's pretty easy to write them off.

 

For those who like their Thou homages explicit. This EP also features a Death Cab for Cutie cover which I'm strangely excited to hear.

 

And guest vocals on the other song from David Bello of TWIABP?

 

The EP is also produced by Chris Teti, formerly of TWIABP. The band also has unknown members...is it a possible TWIABP side project? Cue abundant speculation.

My buddy's bachelor party was this weekend...listened to a lot of the (cringy) metal from high school. Static x for sure.

A lot of good nostalgia though...hatebreed, sevendust, etc

 

Not sure how people in here feel about Metallica, but they showed S&M2 in theaters last night and it was pretty awesome. It's playing again on Monday in some places. If you like Metallica, go see it on a big screen with loud speakers while you can.

The only downside to that show is that it starts at 2 and it's at one of the worst venues in town (imo) - I'm betting there won't be any ins and outs, so I'll be trapped for 10 hours or whatever. But the bill is nuts so it should be worth it.
