I had no idea Poison Headache was a thing, thank you!. This is what I would have expected the band form AILD to sound like before I heard Wovenwar. I like all three, but IMO nothing they do will top Awakening.

Been meaning to check them out for a while. Always loved the dudes contribution to Mastodon songs. Looks like that piece embeds a lot of their essential songs into the text too.

 

New Manatees still blows my mind. LONG time coming.

Album is a beast. Might be their best work.

If you're referring to As I Lay Dying, then the lead singer was charged with trying to kill his wife, but if you're referring to ADTR, then I'm pretty sure the worst thing any of those guys have been wrapped up in was a Dick pic scandal, but that would've had to have been as early as 2008-09.

i just cant get into their most recent stuff. i like pretty much everything up through watershed though. blackwater park is still their opus

Angelmaker and A Night In Texas announced a 6 Song Split EP yesterday called Unholy Alliance and I'm pretty stoked for it.

 

^ Fuck yeah, I'm amped as hell. Two of the best deathcore bands going right now. Cannot wait.
