Saw Creeping Death, Judiciary, Homewrecker and Incendiary last night. All 4 bands were fantastic. I'm proud to have Creeping Death and Judiciary repping my hometown. I see big things for both bands. Creeping Death just got signed and were filming a video last night.

Also, Homewrecker's drummer is sick. I couldn't stop watching him their whole set. Lots of fun.

Incendiary is amazing. They're signed to Closed Casket which is local to me, so they've been playing this area for years and it's never a dull show.

I wanna say it was the summer of 2006 where all I spun was Doom EP and All Shall Perish's The Price of Existence

Someone mentioned cowbells here...this may be my favorite metal song featuring some cowbell

All Shall Perish lost me with everything they did post-The Price of Existence. I just wasn't able to get into Awaken the Dreamers as much. :/

Awaken the Dreamers was dope, as was This is Where it Ends. I really like all their stuff though.

They "re-united" in 2015, but I haven't heard any updates of anything new happening. Wish they'd release a new album/go on tour

Here's a neat little groovy, tech death EP from Wounds, a band from Chicago I'd never heard of until browsing across this earlier today on Bandcamp.

So sludgecore is what Pulling Teeth did. That's what I got out of that band's sound.

i always thought sludgecore was shit like crowbar and eyehategod when they displayed more hardcore influence in their sludge tunes. i know some hardcore kids who eat that shit up to the point where crowbar played this is hardcore one year:

In other shit I missed in 2018, here's an album from PALM. They play angry AF grind/hardcore. All I'm gonna say is that I regret passing on this one until now.
