I wish Mastodon will do more tour dates playing Crack the Skye, it’s one of my personal favorites of the band

 

Seeing Mastodon play all of Crack the Sky in full plus a set of songs off of Remission, Leviathan, and Blood Mountain was probably one of my favorite live sets ever. Valient Thorr and BTBAM opened, IIRC. Probably the best present my ex-girlfriend ever got me.

 

British grind/powerviolence for those who are always afraid of things getting worse.

 

Seeing Mastodon along with The Deftones and Alice In Chains on the blackdiamondskye Tour was life changing.

 

I'm still bummed I missed that AIC/Deftones/Mastodon tour. Pretty excited for this upcoming Crack The Skye one. Would love for them to play full album shows for everything prior to CTS too, but I doubt it'll ever happen.

 

I'd love a Leviathan 20 year tour in 2024. But that's probably a pipe dream.

I know they are doing multiple legs of the tour with different support (Terror, Fit For An Autopsy, Cro-Mags and Municipal Waste are on the first leg, I think) - Hopefully they'll announce some more dates.

I wouldn't miss a Hatebreed show regardless, but a 25th anniversary tour with these openers just puts it over the top.

These guys are just badass. I'm loving the mix of dark industrial and beatdown hardcore. It's like Fear Factory played by Code Orange.

 

Bruh, how can it be this fucing sick... Larissa is legit the hardest in the whole damn game and I will accept no other arguments.

Reminds me of the best parts of Dying Fetus and Aborted with a whole lot of hardcore parts and a dash of Lamb Of God groove. I'm definitely the most psyched for this of anything coming this year.
