got damn that Eternal Champion song has been stuck in my head all day

 

They sound even more like deathcore Gojira now. I'm okay with it.

Yup, it's cathartic. Did that with job for a cowboy recently. Doom will always have a special place in my heart.

 

Whenever i see Metallica tweet about that new book they wrote i always think to myself "so you can write a book but where's that new album you've been talking about"

yeah I thought the trna was pretty cool. so I guess you would say they're a bit post rock-y? I like that stuff

 

yeah it definitely leans toward that kind of black metal aesthetic

 

This entire week has been Cowboys From Hell through The Great Southern Trendkill. Dimebag was such a great guitarist.

quintessential for the genre. Niege is the guitarist who is the pioneer (source needed?) of blackgaze

 

I've been obsessed with The Long Goodbye since last summer, and have been meaning to check out other blackgaze.

 

huh I just read he actually didnt play guitar on that album just vocals. dudes impossible to keep up with all his work. and the wiki for most his stuff is in german

 

they should be putting out an album this year, they tend to put one out damn near every year and they put out a new song a few months ago.
