Damn this is sick. Death metal for fans of Gatecreeper. This band has an album combining both of their demos coming out in April

Definitely hit or miss. I still think the intro to progenies of the great apocalypse is one of the best I've heard, it wouldn't be as effective without the orchestra.

The only Dimmu album I’ve ever clicked with is Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia. It’s like a slap around the face when that intro kicks into Blessing Upon The Throne of Tyranny.

Completely agree. Watching drum covers of that song gave me new respect for it.

I think after the incredible buzz/reception their last album got, the sooner they can get their follow up out the better. They're playing here in Minneapolis in May and I'm STOKED; last time I saw them they played with Iron Reagan, and that show had people doing BACKFLIPS off the stage, haha. I'm sure this show will be just as loco

 

Pretty sure they're just dropping a new single or 7" or something like that. Haven't heard any talk of a new full length.
