It's really good. My first time listening to a full Integrity album, but I immediately downloaded "Systems Overload" afterwards.

Listen to Those Who Fear Tomorrow right now.

TBH the first four records are excellent. Never listened to anything after

Early Inegrity is more hardcore influenced while the later records are Black Metal Influenced but they still all maintain a signature sound.

I'll definitely check out their other records. I only jumped to "Systems Overload" because I read a Noisey article about the reissue and they acted like it was the best album of all time.

It's up there with some of the influential hardcore records. If you look at the Victory records roster at that time it was STACKED with great bands:
    Strife
    Integrity
    Earth Crisis
    Hatebreed
    Snapcase

Early Hatebreed was my jam. I still unashamedly love them.

Yo, can we put our heads together and make a community black metal list on Spotify or something? I liked the metal list we made in the AP days.

Speak of the devil, it looks like Wolves in the Throne Room and Pillorian (ex-Agalloch) are touring together in the fall...

I never got into Hatebreed all that much, but Satisfaction is the Death of Desire and Perseverance were both cool albums to me back in my younger years.

I guess I've just always talked to people that felt like Hatebreed was too "bro-core" or kind of generic or something, but I've always found them to be incredibly consistent and they always put on a great live show. I used to jam the shit out of Under the Knife, Satisfaction and Perseverance. I still listen to every record they put out, but I don't really keep them in my rotation too much anymore. BUT I will always go see them live any chance I'm given. Went to the Devil You Know/Devildriver/Hatebreed tour twice last year (because for some reason it hit Dallas twice)

They are the pinnacle of consistency. I'll give them that. But it's probably just a sonic issue for me. Their groove-driven metallic hardcore sound has never done much for me especially as my tastes have expanded over the years. Just never have been my cup of tea. *shrug emoji*

I have never considered Hatebreed bro-core. Their lyrics are all about overcoming adversity and they really are one of the most consistent and hardworking bands in metal/hardcore. Jamey has said many times he always felt closer to the metal community as opposed to the hardcore community because he didn't want to be pigeonholed into that specific genre and could go out with bands like Devil You Know and Devildriver.

Here's a Spotify link I created in an attempt to get a community black metal playlist started:

Feel free to add, delete, or ridicule my inclusions. Also, I'm very sad that Mgla isn't on Spotify, because they'd also be on there. That ruined my morning.

Still gotta check out a good deal of the black metal Jake posted in the op, but I'm always down for more later
